1983–1986
Inducted
Class of 2008

If you look at any photo taken of Pat in the mid-eighties, it will always feature athletic tape, bruises, a black eye and blood. An eight man, he was a hard nosed man playing a hard nosed position. He is famous for scoring the go ahead try in the final seconds of the 1986 Midwest championship game. Coming off a front peel from a lineout 20 yards out from the goal line, he pancaked the Wisconsin wing to give BG a 7 – 6 victory and put them in their first national championship in 1986. Pat was voted the Bone Crusher Award in 1985 as BG’s best defender.
