A former soccer player that made a seamless transfer to rugby’s fly half position. Derek was voted “B” team player of the year in 2003 and Most Valuable Player in 2005. A devastatingly accurate kicker, his 182 points is the third most ever scored for BG in a single season. He is also third on the career-scoring list with 845 points and led the team in scoring five times while broke the century scoring mark each time.
