Jerry Nicolosi, a transfer from Ohio State where he was an original member of that club in 1966, Jerry was a BGSU RFC Co-founder while playing wing and fullback. He was the club’s first president and captain. Jerry worked with Tim Fox and Dr. Samuel Cooper to create the club’s first field out at Poe Ditch, placed there because Cooper had been advised by officials at other Universities to (Quote) “ put the rugby club as far away from the rest of the University population as possible”. He passed away in 2002.
