Ed Cvelbar, very few images stand out as part of the history this club more than the one of prop Ed Cvelbar marching his Cal Berkley opponent backwards across the field with Ed’s thumb stuck in the guy’s mouth. A no-nonsense former football lineman, Ed moved seamlessly into one of the best front rows this club ever fielded. The front row of Rd Cvelbar, Dave Meyer and Dave Cramer one of only two front rows to best the vaunted Golden Bears.
