Chuck didn’t turn out too bad for a kid whose parents refused to let him play college sports. Chuck was elected president of the club in 1984 and Most Valuable Player in 1984. He was awarded the very highest honors in the U.S. rugby world – being named all-American in 1986 and then U.S. Eagle for the 1991 Rugby World Cup. And I am happy to reveal her publicly for the first time – Chuck is being considered for induction into Bowling Green State University’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
